Introducing PowerTeacher 2.5
PowerTeacher version 2.5 is ready for back-to-school 2012! This new version has several enhancements to attendance. The multi-day attendance grid lets you see student attendance across multiple days and is available in both PowerSchool and PowerTeacher. Other major enhancements to the attendance module include an optional seating chart with free-form and standard drag-and-drop formats.
Seating Chart
The new seating chart available in PowerTeacher makes setting up seating charts and taking attendance easy and intuitive. New students show up immediately and the student photos make it easy to configure classroom settings, including furniture, with free-form and standard drag-and-drop formats. Taking attendance and adding a comment is as easy as a single-click.
Multi-day Attendance View
View multiple days of attendance for the entire class or a single student.
New Design for Web Portal
PowerTeacher 2.3 comes with a fresh, new look for the web portal. Extraneous design embellishments have all been removed, helping to focus on the task at hand. The result of these improvements is faster performance when going from page to page. In fact, performance testing in this new design shows speed improvements of anywhere from 20 to 40% faster than the previous version.
Teacher Notifications
A new notifications feature will alert teachers to four different types of gradebook events: Student Birthdays, Added Students, Dropped Students, and Administrator Logins.
