Even though most schools are out on summer break this month, the online educational blogging world has not slowed down! In fact, I found June to provide some of my favorite blog posts yet, and it was difficult for me to narrow them down to only three. Here are the three I have chosen to highlight (and believe when I say it was difficult!):

  • MindShift: A young student shares his enthusiasm and passion for online gaming, and in his TED talk he discusses ways that it has taught him just about everything he knows. He’s a true testimony of the educational significance of games!
  • SimpleK12: This blog post—20 Ways to Motivate Faculty and Staff—needs to be bookmarked by Administrators and Principals! It shares some ideas to maintaining a positive school atmosphere among faculty and staff. What would you add to the list?
  • WeAreTeachers: With the Olympics just around the corner, this blog post is perfect for any teacher focusing on math this season. In it, five activities are shared that are promised to build math skills, teamwork, and Olympic knowledge. As if we weren’t already excited for the Olympics!

Did any blog posts stand out to you in June? Please share in the comments below; maybe we came across some of the same ones!
